About

A nonprofit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, JCI receives and administers the funds donated to the independent projects under its fiscal sponsorship.

JCI was founded in 1990 by John and Ruth Rauch as the Center for Jewish Culture and Creativity. It has always taken a special interest in the cultural life of Israel as part of its mission of service to creative artists. Fiscal sponsorship is extended to projects that align with its mission of furthering artistic and cultural creativity, as distinct from primarily religious, educational, or social-welfare activities.
